Hangcha Japan Officially Opens, Expanding in Asia-Pacific

Chiba, Japan – On August 27, 2025, Hangcha Group held the grand opening ceremony of Hangcha Japan in Chiba. The event was attended by Mr. Li Yuansong, VP of overseas markets of Hangcha Group; Mr. Pan Shafei, General Manager of Hangcha Imp.& Exp; Mr. Hu Zongqi, Deputy General Manager of Hangcha Japan; Mr. Shi Quanhong, General Manager of Hangcha Sales, along with many partners.

Hangcha Japan is located in Sakura, Chiba, with a 2,500 m² warehouse and logistics center. The facility combines product display, technical demos, customer training, and after-sales service. It includes a showroom, AGV demo area, training center, spare parts warehouse, and enough stock to meet local market needs, ensuring fast service for Japanese customers.

Hangcha Japan will focus on new energy forklifts and smart logistics solutions, while also offering sales and rental of multiple product lines, supporting Japan’s shift toward greener and smarter material handling.

Delivering the opening speech, Mr. Li Yuansong said: “The Japanese market plays a crucial role for Hangcha. Over the years, we have built close partnerships with leading Japanese companies such as Kubota, Yanmar, Mitsubishi, and GCT, as well as major trading groups like KOSEN and Itochu. Our collaboration with Okamura Corporation began years ago and has led to the establishment of joint ventures, including Hangzhou Okamura Transmission Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Hangcha Okamura Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.
